Race Sponsorship
BRAINSPORT has sponsored and supported many races in Saskatoon and area since its inception. We have supported the SASKATCHEWAN MARATHON since 1992 and actually organized it for several years.
We now leave that in the capable hands of our friends with the Saskatoon Road Runners Association. We have a long history with the Saskatoon Triathlon Club including sponsoring and organizing events such as the SPIN OFF SPADINA TRIATHLON and the BRAINSPORT KIDS OF STEEL race.
BRAINSPORT is actively involved each year supporting Saskatoon's HOPE CANCER CENTRE RACE FOR RECOVERY. We offer a Learn to Run Clinic directly aimed at participants wanting to learn to run for this event.
In March 2008 we partnered with local representatives from OXFAM CANADA to put on a fundraising event for urgent relief in Kenya. This partnership resulted in the 10K for KENYA road race. Brian had a goal of raising $10,000.00 for aid and this event raised in excess of $15,000.00!
